SEDHANTIK
Indien

Sidhant, the founder of the Sedhantik Initiative, made it his business to set a clear sign against the enormous waste of today's fashion world by creating a slow fashion business with the goal to create a conscious relation between the product and the consumer. To do so he introduces modern designs and colours while keeping the original traditional techniques of block printing and weaving in utmost quality alive.

All the scarves and shawls are handloom-woven and edges are finished manually. Sedhantik uses only natural material such as Eri silk. Compared to the conventional silk cultivation, for Eri silk the silkworm stays alive and the silk moths leaves the cocoons before the silk cooking process begins. Focusing on quality over quantity, every single piece is made to last and will thus be a friend for life for the owner.
